From Raw Beauty to Refined Art

Our craftsmen transform natural stones through time-honoured techniques, each piece requiring 60-90 hours of dedicated handwork.

1

Stone Selection & Assessment

3-4 hours

Each stone undergoes meticulous examination for structural integrity, inclusion mapping, and colour consistency. Our craftsmen assess grain direction and natural fracture lines to determine optimal cutting angles, ensuring maximum beauty whilst maintaining durability.

2

Initial Cutting & Shaping

6-8 hours

Using diamond-wire cutting tools, skilled artisans transform rough material into preliminary forms. This critical stage requires reading the stone's natural properties—one miscalculation can compromise weeks of subsequent work.

3

Progressive Grinding & Polishing

48-72 hours

The most intensive phase employs successive grades of diamond compounds, progressing from 220-grit rough shaping to ultra-fine 50,000-grit final polishing. Each surface receives individual attention to achieve the mirror-like finish that reveals the stone's inner character.

4

Setting Creation & Electroplating

4-6 hours

Master craftsmen forge bespoke sterling silver settings, then apply 18-carat white gold electroplating through controlled chemical deposition. This process ensures lasting brilliance whilst complementing each stone's unique proportions.

5

Final Assembly & Quality Assurance

2-3 hours

Rigorous inspection protocols verify mounting security, surface perfection, and optical clarity. Each piece must demonstrate the structural integrity required for daily wear whilst maintaining its refined appearance.

Swedish Heritage: From Celestial Origins

Our story begins with the Muonionalusta meteorite—ancient iron buried beneath Swedish soil for four ice ages. Where others saw only specimens, our family recognised potential. We were the first to shape this celestial material into wearable pieces, revealing its Widmanstätten patterns through precise cutting.

From this origin, we advanced to the wider world of natural stones, developing techniques that preserve the truth of each material. Forged in space and geological time, these elements carry a depth that no manufactured accessory can. Each piece is crafted to endure, joining contemporary design with traditions of careful workmanship.

What Our Gentlemen Say

"The weight and texture immediately convey quality in a way that's unmistakable. This isn't decoration—it's geology you can wear daily."

— James M.

"I've collected Swiss watches and Italian leather for years, but nothing prepared me for the understated sophistication of these pieces. The natural stone variations make each one genuinely unique."

Oliver H.

"The consultation helped me understand exactly what I didn't know I was looking for. It's become the piece I reach for most often, and somehow always feels appropriate."

Thomas R.
