Strawberry Quartz
Provenance
Madagascar
Concept
Suspended Ore
TRACE & NARRATIVE
Quartz tinted by fine inclusions of iron oxide or goethite dispersed through the interior. Named, straightforwardly, for its resemblance to strawberry.
Found in Madagascar, Kazakhstan, and Brazil, though specimens with vivid redness are uncommon. Most lean closer to pale pink than red. Crystals that truly earn the name "strawberry"are limited. Between the colour the name promises and the colour delivered, a small gap.
Inclusion density and distribution differ from stone to stone, so no two share quite the same hue.
PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
- Durable in daily wear — no special precautions required.

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROJECTION
Gratitude — Presence — Recognition
Draws attention to the minor satisfactions already in hand. No grand elation — just a recalibration toward what's here, what's enough. The circuit of appreciation opens on its own.
SELECTOR'S NOTE
While chasing a larger happiness, the value of what's already in hand tends to blur. The richest moment often turns out to be the one where what you have feels like enough. This stone suits the person who recognises that moment when it arrives. I'd rather not use the word gratitude. The feeling is close, but drier than that.
